3. Scope
3.1 In all forms of cooperation, the client acknowledges that only these general terms and conditions apply to the agreement between the parties and undertakes to comply with them. These general terms and conditions take absolute precedence over the client's general and specific terms and conditions (if any), even if the latter provide otherwise.
3.2 These general terms and conditions for cooperation with Felinova are available on the website www.felinova.be/standaardvoorwaarden.
3.3 Felinova enters into a service obligation with the client, not an obligation of result. This means that Felinova will do its utmost to advise as clearly and competently as possible, but a specific result can never be promised or guaranteed, as the totality of a therapy depends on many different and additional factors.
4. Registration for online training with Felinova
4.1 You can register for a Felinova training course via www.felinova.be. Payment for your training is also made directly via the website.
4.2 After your payment, you will receive a confirmation email for your order, as well as practical instructions for accessing the online learning environment via the I love happy cats app.
4.3 Cancellation of registration for an online course is not possible. There is no right to a refund.
4.4 Participation in a Felinova training course does not entitle you to any form of free or additional advice.
5. Ordering a product from the Felinova webshop
5.1 A product can be ordered via www.felinova.be/shop. In this webshop, Felinova customers can (re)order products to support their behavioral therapy.
5.2 None of these products replaces personal advice from a professional, such as your veterinarian or a cat behavior consultant. Please always consult your veterinarian and/or behavioral therapist if you wish to offer or administer these products, and if you have even the slightest doubt.
5.3 Felinova cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for unpleasant consequences when using the products sold.
5.4 Felinova can never promise a result when using our products, as the result depends on many different aspects. In this respect, it is not possible to offer a "not satisfied, money back" policy.
5.5 If a product is faulty upon arrival, it will be replaced if returned to Felinova within 14 calendar days with a clear description with photos. This way, we can offer you an appropriate solution and replacement as soon as possible.
5.6 It is important to present the products correctly. Products that have broken during use are not our responsibility and will not be replaced or refunded in any way.
6. Safety and responsibility
6.1 Felinova can never be held liable for negative, undesirable or harmful consequences of advice given in any form of paid or unpaid consultation (training/behavior therapy/open day/guest lecture). The responsibility for implementing the advice always remains with the client. Felinova assures that all advice is based as much as possible on scientific research and/or experience-based, animal-friendly techniques and theories.
6.2 The client acknowledges that Felinova is not liable for damages (both material and physical) resulting from accidents before, during or after a client visit/Felinova training/guest lecture.
6.3 Felinova is not liable for damages or losses that may occur to the client's property during the training. Participants must always look after their property.
7. Complaints
7.1 If the client is not satisfied or has a complaint about an action or transaction with or by Felinova, they must submit it in writing (by email or post) within 30 days of the incident. The complaint must be extensively substantiated.
7.2 Complaints relating to the General Terms and Conditions will be considered but cannot be processed. The client should read our general terms and conditions before agreeing to them. If the client has agreed to the General Terms and Conditions but has not read them (fully), and this is the cause of the complaint, this is beyond our control and Felinova is no longer responsible. Our terms and conditions have been drawn up for good cooperation, and this starts with an honest acceptance.
8. Data Protection & Copyright
8.1 The client's data will be stored in the Felinova Comm. V. file for commercial - administrative purposes and will under no circumstances be passed on to third parties. In accordance with the law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy, the client has the right to access and correct the data stored about them.
8.2 The client explicitly acknowledges that the information and data provided are and remain the intellectual and industrial property of Felinova Comm.V. The texts, images and other elements of the course material are protected by copyright. The participant is not entitled to assign or allow the use of logos, graphics, representations and all forms of course material to third parties in any way for personal or commercial purposes.
